You will participate in a field based/internship combined with classroom instruction designed to give students the opportunity to explore careers in teaching and occupations working directly with children and adolescents.
You will have the opportunity to teach/assist at Plano ISD elementary schools 2 days a week and at our Plano West Early Learning Center. This is a 2 hour class.

You will do an in-depth study of the physical, social, emotional and intellectual growth and development of children and adolescents through four classroom hours per week and six internship/experience hours per week at Plano ISD elementary schools.

You will learn how a child develops from conception to age 12. This is a good course if you plan on a career with children.
